Moodle Webwork Bridge Documentation


Step 1:

Log in to your account

Step 2:

Open the course of which you are an instructor. Screen would look like this.

Step 3:

Click on ‘Turn editing on’

Step 4:

Scroll to the bottom. On the bottom left corner you would a block of ‘Add a Block’. Select ‘Webwork Link’ from that.

Step 5:

Again scroll to the bottom. You will see a new block with the name ‘Webwork Link’. Click on settings.

You will see an option of ‘Configure WebWork Link block’. Click on it.

Step 6:

You would have been redirected to this new page. Select the webwork course you want to bridge and click on ‘Save Changes’.

Step 7:

Now you are connected with your webwork course. You will see this at the bottom left corner.

Step 8:

Now in any week click on ‘Add and activity or resource’ and select ‘Webwork Problem Set’ from the left side. Finally click ‘Add’

Step 9:

You would be redirected to a new screen where you would see a dropdown with the name ‘Webwork Set’. Select the webwork homework set you want to join.

NOTE: The problem set should be created in the webwork for it to appear here. If no problem set is created, list would be empty.

NOTE 2: You CANNOT create a new webwork problem set from here. You can only connect with problem set already created in Webwork.

Step 10:

Click on ‘Save and Display’ to view the problem set. You are all set.

NOTE: In case you want to make any changes in the problem set, you will have do it from webwork. The changes would automatically reflect on moodle.

PS: If the webwork course is already bridged, you can skip steps 4 to 7.
